Creating Your Own .pdf

There are two types of ebook, exe and pdf. However, I prefer using pdf. Why? Because not everyone in this world are using the same OS as us, so they maybe can't read the exe file for security reason.

The most widely used ebook type is pdf. When you've finished writing your ebook, you might want to convert it to pdf. But, what software can give you the ability to do so? I recommend you to use these two softwares that I've been using for so long now.

The first one is OpenOffice.org. It has similar functions as Microsoft Office. You can write word document, spreadsheet, presentation and much more. The only thing differ is the name. While Microsoft Office is using names like Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OpenOffice.org uses names like Write, Calc, Impress and so on.

Microsoft Word -OpenOffice.org Writer
Microsoft PowerPoint-OpenOffice.org Impress
Microsoft Excel -OpenOffice.org Calc
Microsoft Access -OpenOffice.org Base

So,basically, anything that you can do with Microsoft Office, you can do it using OpenOffice.org and what's more, it's FREE!

You can get OpenOffice.org at http://openoffice.org

The second software that you can use to convert your word document to pdf is primopdf. Primopdf act as your printer driver and when you want to create a pdf, you just change your printer to primopdf in print properties.

It has two choices, either you want to save the pdf document for print or for screen. Primopdf can also create clickable links in your pdf. But, make sure your links have hyperlinks before
converting it to pdf.

You can get primopdf here http://primopdf.com

Don't worry, even though these two softwares are free, no spyware or adware in these two. So, it's safe for you to download and use it.

That's all
