Stripes On Screen - Acer Aspire 5052

Hi all,

Sorry for not posting for so long.

Remember my post with the same title with this post? Stripes on Screen - Acer Aspire 5052

Well, actually the problem has been solved. For those who have the same problem with my friend, if I'm not mistaken, the problem was caused by the display driver. It's not a hardware problem. It's a driver problem.

So, if you have this problem, you better reinstall your display driver or any drivers that you think can cause this problem. The technician that repair my friend's laptop didn't tell her what driver that caused the problem, but I suspect that the problem was with the display driver.

Simply said, reinstall your drivers.

Dust and Keyboard

Cleaning your computer keyboard might be something that you seldom do. Not only the keyboard, but maybe you only clean your computer from dust and dirt once a year. Did you know that dust has caused 70% of keyboard failure?

If you think that cleaning your keyboard is something that you only do once a year, you need to think again. Open the keyboard keys by pushing it slowly upwards and remember to push it slowly to prevent the clip from broken. If you're unsure how to do this, ask your computer technician.

Cleaning your computer throughly can save you lots of time and money. So, remember to clean your computer at least once a month and it might help to prolong your computer life.

Get A New HP Laptop With A Discounted Price!

The holiday season is here. Thanksgiving and Christmas is just around the corner. Do you have any trouble finding the right gift for your love ones? How would you like a new HP laptop or a new Dell computer as a gift? Is it too expensive? I know a place where can you find a good Dell coupons and HP coupons.

Now, you can find it all at CouponChief.com. CouponChief.com is a website where you can get tons of coupons and buy gifts at a discounted price.

online shopping

I went to the website to look at the deals and I think you can save lots of money by visiting it. You can search for almost any coupons that you want. For example, you can buy HP Pavillion dv6500z Notebook PC at $400 off using a coupon on that website or how about $100 off on VIZIO 42” GV42LF LCD TV?

In my opinion, it’s a good website where you can find coupons for anything that you want to buy. I just saw a McAfee coupon on that website and you can save $15 on McAfee AntiSpyware by using that coupon.

Other than that, there are many other stuff that you can buy at a discounted price there. Check it out.

How You Can Analyze Your HijackThis Log

As many of you know, HijackThis is a very useful tool. It can detect malicious software infection in your registry and it can fix most of the problem. But, this tool is for those who can read it as it's an advanced tool.

Posting your HijackThis log in tech forum is one of the solution and you have to wait for someone to analyze it before you can remove any entries. But I've found another solution and you don't need to post your log in any forum. This solution will make it easy for you to read your HijackThis log and you will know which entries to fix instantly.

However you must be very careful because the tool that I'm about to mention is still in beta version. If after using this tool you cannot fix the problem, then you can try posting your HijackThis log in any forums.

So, how you can fix your HijackThis entries?

1. Run HijackThis and copy the HijackThis log.
2. Post your HijackThis log in http://www.2-spyware.com/hjt.php
3. Remove all the red entries.

This is how you can fix the HijackThis log yourself. But be careful when removing the yellow entries because sometimes it's not malicious entries.

That's how you can fix your computer problem using HijackThis log yourself.

One more thing, I'm not taking any responsibilities if any problem occured after you've done the method above.

Task Manager Is Disabled By Administrator, Folder Options in Tools is Missing , Cannot Run Regedit,

"Task Manager Is Disabled by Administrator"

Are you having this problem when you're trying to open your task manager?

Other than this problem, Do you have a problem opening your registry? Folder option in tools is missing?

I'm not so sure if there are other reasons in why this is happening. However, when I did the steps below, these three problems were fixed.

First of all, you need to download HijackThis. Just google it and download. Then, see the entries and if you see something similar like the entries below:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe RVHOST.exe
O7 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System, DisableRegedit=1

Delete these two entries. However, please ask an expert if you're not sure about this. Go to a computer tech forum, introduce yourself, and ask them about your HijackThis log..But, make sure you post it under HijackThis log section.

After you delete the two entries, open the 'Misc tools' section and 'open process manager'. See if there is any "Rvhost.exe" process running. If there is, stop the process, if there isn't, then you can proceed to registry editing.

*Warning!: Editing your registry and opening your windows folder should not be done unless you know what you're doing. I will not be responsible for anything that will happen after you do this step

Open your registry by typing 'regedit' in start->run, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies and search for something like 'NoFolder Option' in explorer. Then delete the entry. Exit your registry.

Go to your windows folder and open the system32 folder (E.g. C:\Windows\System32\) and find 'rvhost' file and delete it. Then, restart your computer.

After doing this method, you will be able to access your registry, your folder option will be visible and you can open your task manager.

Try this method and see if it's working.
